Footy tech is a blog all about the technology behind football, new equipment that you’ll for likely see on the feet on some galactico rather than the foot of your opponent next Sunday morning.

We cover all the cool stuff that comes out of the footballing powerhouses of Nike, Adidas, Puma and Lotto. We look at boots, balls, shin pads and kits. You’ll see what’s happening off the pitch with things like goal line technology, equipment for referees and managers, coaches and equipment for players to use in training.

You won’t see cones, unless tech-cones, we might cover bibs if they’re bibs with built in heart monitors and you’ll only read about goal nets if they covered in tiny cameras that project a tiny image of the field onto the back of them so fans get to see all of the game!
